It's always a good idea to share videos on your blog when you get the chance. By embedding videos into your blog, you can share stories from the mission field or from life in a visually stimulating way. Let's face it: everybody likes watching videos!

Here is how you add a video to your Adventures In Missions (AIM) or World Race blog page:

1.To add a video to your blog, scroll to the bottom of your blog editor and click on the box that says "add video code to your post"

2. You will see this box below. You need to retrieve the "embed" code from the video that you want to post.

3. If you're wanting to post a video that has been uploaded to Vimeo, click on the video and then click on the "embed" button the right hand side of the screen, then click "copy embed code". You'll see something like this:

4. If you're wanting to post a video that has been uploaded to Youtube, go to the page where the video is posted and in the right-hand corner, copy the embed code. It will look something like this:

5. Back in your blog editor, paste the embed code in the box like shown. You can then select whether or not you want the video to appear above or below the text. Once your options are set, click "add video code to your post" to close the window.

You're video is now added to your blog!

Advanced Section:

If you're good with HTML, you can add the video code in the HTML section of your blog. If you are not familiar with HTML, you might pass by this. But if you know even the slightest about HTML, then you should consider this method because it allows you to specifically place the video where you want it within your blog, more than just "above" or "below" the main text. Here's how:

1. Copy the embed code from the video of your choice as shown above, but don't paste it in the "add video code" box. Instead, view the HTML code of your blog by clicking the bottom of your editor window, as show below:

2. Once you click the button, you will see all of the HTML coding. Find the location within your blog that you would like to post your video and paste the embed code like below.

3. After this is finished, go back to "normal view" by clicking the option at the bottom of the editor window. Then it should look something like this:

4. It's best to center the video whenever possible, so select the gray video window by clicking on it, then select the "center align" button at the top of the toolbar.
